A rudder is a small input that changes a long course — not a wall the ship crashes into. Rudder works the same way: pick the apps you tend to open without meaning to, and it puts a brief, honest check-in in front of them. Not a lecture. Not a lockout. Just a moment to notice you're about to open it, and decide on purpose.
Some apps you'll want a fixed check-in for, every time, forever. Others you'll want Rudder to pay attention to — and get out of the way once it's confident the check-in isn't landing, or lean in a little more when it's clear you keep bouncing straight back in.

Rudder watches how you actually respond over time and adjusts accordingly — never from one or two opens, always something you can see and switch back at any time.
